What conditions does the SpotBot 4G Plus monitor?
It simultaneously monitors tri-axial impact (3.5G–100G), temperature (-20°C to 60°C ±0.5°C accuracy), humidity (10–90% RH ±2% RH accuracy), and GPS location. All four data streams are timestamped and transmitted to the SpotSee Cloud at user-configured intervals.
How does location tracking work?
The SpotBot 4G Plus uses three complementary technologies for the most accurate position available at any point in transit: GPS satellite, proximity to known WiFi signals, and cellular tower triangulation. Geofencing is also supported — users receive an automatic alert when the asset reaches or departs a predefined location.
How does it communicate data?
Data is transmitted via the 4G LTE-M cellular network, which offers better power efficiency and signal range than standard 4G LTE — ideal for assets moving across borders and regions. The device can also be configured to communicate via recognized WiFi networks when available.

Battery life depends on the reporting interval selected:

How are alarms and alerts configured?
Alarms are configured through the SpotSee Cloud web application before deployment. Users set custom thresholds for impact G-level, temperature high/low, and humidity high/low. When any threshold is breached, the device sends an immediate notification including the time, location, G-level, and direction of impact.
How is the device set up and how is data accessed?
Setup is done entirely through SpotSee’s intuitive web application — no specialized software or hardware is required. Trip data is stored securely in the SpotSee Cloud and accessible from any browser, providing visualizations including impact-over-time graphs, histograms by G-level, and temperature/humidity trend charts.
